Clothesline of Quilts

This project encourages travelers to choose routes throughout the countryside instead of traveling along the interstate by placing painted quilt squares on highly visible barns and other structures. The Breckinridge County project encourages travelers to view our beautiful countryside and farming community.

Breckinridge County Airport

For visitors with smaller private planes the Breckinridge County Airport has a 4,000’ runway as well as refueling capability.

Breckinridge County Arts Guild

Through encouragement, education, and exhibiting, the Guild preserves and promotes the rich heritage and exciting future of Kentucky arts and crafts.

Route 60 200 Mile Sale

Breckinridge County is part of the 200 Mile Yard Sale that follows Highway 60 through eight counties in Western Kentucky.

Described as a “yard sale on steroids” the route includes countless yard sales, food vendors, craft demonstrations and special. Usually held the first weekend in October.

Irvington Railroad Station Museum 

The restored depot/museum located at 243 N. First St. in Irvington contains railroad and historical photographs of the community. The building served as a freight and passenger station for the community.

It is open the first Sunday of each month from 2 to 4 p.m.

Breckinridge Bluegrass Music Association

The purpose of the organization is to enjoy and love the music as a way to preserve this beautiful art form of Bluegrass.

Membership dues for the Breckinridge Bluegrass Music Association:

Individual – $10.00 per year 

Couples – $15.00 per year
