Whitworth Tool, Inc.
Biography
In 1998 our founder, Kenny Whitworth, started Whitworth Tool in his small brick garage in West View Ky. With one small milling machine he began producing die components for the tool and die industry.
In 1999 ne purchased a larger (8,800 square feet) building in Hardinsburg, Kentucky. More machines and employees were added to meet the growing demand.
In 2002 we were once again out of space. We purchased an even larger building (39,400 square feet) in Hardinsburg, Kentucky.
In 2006 the tool and die repair had grown to the point that a new addition was built (an additional 4,000 square feet). Larger machines were added, along with a spotting press for die try-out.
In June of 2006 Whitworth Tool became ISO 9001 Certified.
In July of 2014, Whitworth Tool became AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 Certified.
In August of 2016 Whitworth Tool Inc. obtained a Type 7 FFL with a Class 2 SOT permitting our company to manufacture NFA Firearms and Components. Since that time, Whitworth Tool Inc. had diversified its services to meet the demands of an ever-changing industrial environment, adding staff, equipment and know-how whenever possible. Our team of skilled machinists, engineers, tool and die makers will provide the best service possible to meet your needs.
